Tongue Twister
A tongue twister to say fast, with a tally box. Easy ones for little kids, tricky ones for olders.
Example
The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick.
Say it 5 times fast without a slip.
Sound to watch: “sh”. Tries: ☐ ☐ ☐ ☐ ☐
One a day from the bank — this is a sample.
How to play
- Read it slowly first, then say it three times, getting faster each time.
- Try not to trip. If you can say it fast without a mistake, you win.
How it works
A bank of ~125 tongue twisters (classics plus originals), tagged by the sound they drill — a nice bonus for speech practice. Little kids get short one-sound twisters; olders get the hard ones. Each kid works through the bank one a day in their own order.
What you can set
- Appropriateness dial (kindergarten → adult) — tune it per card. Picks the age band and how many times to say it.
Age dial (1–20): Three age sets: 1–6 short and easy, 7–10 medium, 11+ tricky.
