Curious facts·1× card
Animal of the Day
A different animal each day to color in, with where it lives, how big it is and a fun fact.
Example
SQUIRREL
Lives: Forests, parks and gardens.
Size: About 20 cm long, plus a tail nearly as long.
Fun fact: Squirrels bury thousands of nuts each autumn and forget some, which grow into new trees.
Color me in, then draw where I live.
One a day from the bank — this is a sample.
How to play
- Color in the animal, then read where it lives and the fun fact.
- Can you guess how big it is before you read the size?
How it works
A bank of ~55 animals, each with a simple coloring-page drawing, where it lives, its size and a true fun fact. Each kid works through the bank one a day in their own order.
